Ship before you’re ready

July 14, 2026

Most makers stall on polish. I stall on fear of looking unfinished.

A rule that works

Ship something every Friday — even if it’s a single paragraph and one screenshot.

  1. Pick one lesson from the week
  2. Write it like a note to a friend
  3. Hit publish before you re-read it three times

Done is a feature. Perfect is a postponement.

If you’re stuck, shrink the scope until it fits in one coffee.

What I cut

  • Custom illustrations
  • Long intros
  • “I’ll add analytics later” rabbit holes

What I keep

  • One clear takeaway
  • One link to something I shipped
  • One question for readers

That’s enough for a newsletter people actually finish.
